PD-7001G is a new One-Port High-Power Gigabit Power over Ethernet (PoE) Midspan added to the PowerDsine Midspan product portfolio.

The PD-7001G maintains the existing PoE standard (IEEE 802.3af) parameters with double the power - it supports a minimum of 30W at the port output.

The PD-7001G is a solution to the growing demand for PoE which powers end-terminals above the 15.4W supported by the existing 802.3af standard as a step towards 802.3at - PoE's high power standard

The PD-7001G allows a safe and cost effective PoE solution for Ethernet end terminals. More devices can be powered via the network thus eliminating the need to use a power supply and install costly power outlets close to the end device. The 30W unit gives an optimal solution to PTZ and Dome network cameras 802.11n Access Points Thin Clients Video Phones and more. 

PD7001G

The Gigabit interface makes the PD-7001G the perfect solution for Gigabit Video phones WiMAX transmitters or 802.11n access points.

High efficiency (over 80%) is being utilized in the product which was used to achieve high power with a minimal and compact design - The PD-7001G weighs only 350 gr. The high efficiency achieved also means low temperature inside the product resulting in high product life and quality.
